:: Scalloped center medallion in large scale format atop a covered field of floral blossoms. Wrapped by a narrow banded main border in floral top views. Colors and shades include: Tomato red, dark chocolate brown, sapphire blue, jade green, antique ivory, tangerine orange, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some etching to specific shades based on oxidation from mordants and/or dyes. Very minor localized color migration. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Farahan Sarouk rug mat made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 2'2" x 2'10".
